Matchboxes are printed offset. Expect possible dot gain of 5-10%. Screens and shades of colors are likely to darken when imprinted on the matchbooks.

Matchboxes with heavy ink coverage may scuff during shipping.

Be aware that trim lines may not align perfectly with the edges of the art, especially in regards to reverse color combinations.

Due to Federal Regulations, a Contact Name & Number must be listed in the ID tagline on the outside cover of each matchbox. If you would like your Contact Name and Number used, please indicate this in the ‘Additional Instructions’ box. If you choose not to add your information our business information will be used.

Air shipping is not available on matches. Ground ships to Continental United States and Canada. Please contact us for shipping costs to deliver to AK and HI.
Proofing & Artwork
PROOFING
You will receive a .pdf proof of your artwork within 24 to 48 hours of completing your order. In the vast majority of cases you will receive your proof within 24 hours.
FILE FORMATS
While we can work with virtually any file format, best results are usually obtained with a vector .ai, .eps, or .pdf file. (We do not accept .pub files.) Please remember to outline all fonts and embed all images.

FONTS
If you require a specific font in your design, please let us know which font you need or attach the font file with your order. If you do not have the font file, our Art Department has a large library of fonts and can usually match the font in your artwork.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Prices shown include preparation of a simple design using text only, or generating a proof using your supplied logo or design in an appropriate digital format. If a more complex design is required, layout is billed at $85 per hour or quoted on a per design basis.
Ordering Information
Production Time
Production time is approximately 25-30 working days depending on quantity, number of imprint colors and availability of stock. Production does not begin until we have received approval of artwork proof and payment. Working days do not include weekends or holidays. Production time does not include shipping time. Production times shown are not guaranteed. Specific shipping dates must be confirmed with our Customer Service Department.
Price and options are subject to change at any time.
Cancellations
There will be no cancellation charges if the order is canceled before the artwork is started. There will be a $25 charge if the order is canceled after the art has been completed. An order cannot be canceled if it has entered production.
Coupons
(if applicable) Coupons are not valid for all products. Please consult your dedicated account manager to confirm if your coupon can be applied to all (or part of) your order.
Shipping
We require a signature on all deliveries. Orders shipped by UPS or FedEx Ground unless otherwise specified. Some larger orders may be shipped by trucking line. If you have a specific in-hand date for your order, please contact our Customer Service Department with the details. Faster delivery service is available at an additional charge for most products.
Imprint Colors and Surface Colors
We cannot guarantee exact matches among imprint colors and product colors. For example, specific colors will vary depending on what type of product it is printed on, the color of the product, and the printing process that is used. With most products, printing within one or two shades of a specific color is deemed industry standard. Product colors may vary as well. We work for as much consistency as possible, but there will be color shifts during production runs, and between separate production runs.
