Personalization Engraving
For that extra special touch, you can have each item engraved with the recipient\'s name for $1.75 per line, with a $25.00 set up fee. A typed list of the names to be engraved must accompany your order. Longer names may require more than one line of personalization, which will require additional charges.
Frequently Asked Questions
After you place your order we will review and prepare your art files and will email you a .PDF proof within 48-business hours. Once you receive your proof simply review it for accuracy and either reply with your approval to proceed or contact your account manager to make any necessary changes or edits. PrintGlobe will not produce a new printed order without your written proof approval. Proofs may not be necessary for exact re-orders.

Laser Engraving is a method where the design or copy is lasered into the item by a laser beam which is computer controlled. Typestyles with fine lines or serifs do not reproduce well at smaller sizes. Block type such as Helvetica is recommended. Laser imprinting produces varying shades depending on the base material. Brass product is hand-dipped to create the chrome coating. Engraving brings out the brass and will normally appear slightly red in color.

Setup fees for one-sided engraving: $50 with a $35 reorder setup fee. Setup fees for two-sided engraving: $85 with a $35 reorder setup fee. Letter openers are individually packaged in a black velvet sleeve.

Proofing and Artwork Preparation
You will receive a .pdf proof of your artwork within 24 to 48 hours of completing your order. In the vast majority of cases, you will receive your proof within 24 hours.
While we can work with virtually any file format, best results are usually obtained with a vector Illustrator .AI, .EPS, or .PDF file. More information about file formats and preparing your artwork can be found in our FAQ.
If you require a specific font, please include the font file with your order. If you do not have the font file, our Art Department has a large library of fonts and can match your artwork.
Prices shown include preparation of straight line copy set in our standard typestyles and placement of customer supplied logos in an appropriate digital format. If special layout, trademarks, or typestyles are required, layout is billed at $85 per hour. If reproduction grade black and white art or digital file is furnished, no art charge will be added. Note: reproduction grade refers to copy of type, logo and/or imprint, ready for reproduction without additional touch up.
Ordering Information
Production Time Production time is approximately 7 working days depending on quantity, number of imprint colors and availability of stock. Production does not begin until we have received approval of artwork proof and payment. Working days do not include weekends or holidays. Production time does not include shipping time. Production times shown are not guaranteed. Specific shipping dates must be confirmed with our Customer Service Department.
Price and options are subject to change at any time.
Cancellations There will be no cancellation charges if the order is canceled before the artwork is started. There will be a $45 charge if the order is canceled after the art has been completed. An order cannot be canceled if it has entered production.
Shipping We require a signature on all deliveries. Orders shipped by UPS or FedEx Ground unless otherwise specified. Some larger orders may be shipped by trucking line. If you have a specific in-hand date for your order, please contact our Customer Service Department with the details. Faster delivery service is available at an additional charge for most products.
Over / Under Run An over or under run of 5% will constitute a complete order. Every attempt will be made to minimize these amounts.
Imprint Colors and Surface Colors We cannot guarantee exact matches among imprint colors and product colors. For example, specific colors will vary depending on what type of product it is printed on, the color of the product, and the printing process that is used. With most products, printing within one or two shades of a specific color is deemed industry standard. Product colors may vary as well. We work for as much consistency as possible, but there will be color shifts during production runs, and between separate production runs.
