Which power bank is best for my device?
A PrintGlobe Customer on Oct 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: There are two things to consider when choosing the best power bank for your device: 1) Choose a power bank with a capacity greater than, or equal to, your device's mAh (find the mAh on your device's manufacturer specifications). 2) Be sure to choose a power bank with amps greater than, or equal to, your device's requirements.
What does mAh mean?
A PrintGlobe Customer on Oct 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: A mAh (milliampere hour) is a unit of electrical charge that is commonly used to measure battery capacity, and is often described as the batterys fuel tank as it measures the amount of energy that the battery can supply on a full charge.
What is an amp output level?
A PrintGlobe Customer on Oct 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: An amp output is a measure of how fast your device will charge. In short, the bigger the amp, the faster your device will charge. In most cases, power banks are designed to provide two amps of output current, however, some models only offer one. While two amps work most efficiently with tablets, most smartphones will charge just fine with one or less amps. Just be sure to choose a power bank with amps greater than, or equal to, your devices requirements.
Can power banks be used to charge a tablet?
A PrintGlobe Customer on Oct 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, just be sure to choose a power bank with capacity greater than, or equal to, your device's mAh.
Can I charge more than one device at a time?
A PrintGlobe Customer on Oct 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, we have several power bank styles that allow you to charge more than one device at a time.
How long do your power banks last?
A PrintGlobe Customer on Oct 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Our power bank lifespans vary depending on a variety of factors. Generally speaking, a good rule of thumb is to divide the mAh of a power bank by your device battery mAh. For example, a 20,000 mAh power bank can theoretically charge an iPhone 6, which has an mAh of 2100, from 1-100%, 9.5 times (20,000/2100 = 9.5). Keep in mind though this theory won't always be 100% accurate as there are a number of factors involved that can influence a power banks lifespan, such as what your device is doing while it's being charged, how long you keep your device on the power bank each time, if you are charging more than one device at a time, etc. In many cases, a power bank will last much longer than the calculated expectancy number.
