Everybody's going online. But does your business look as professional as the big dot-coms? A great looking web site may be easier than you think.

To help define what you need in a website, we use a detailed questionnaire called a Project Profile. A profile clarifies the scope of your project so that you know exactly what you want and design firms can give you more accurate and useful proposals.

Most admirable design firms will have some variation of a Project Profile that can help plan a project. To give you a feel for what a profile might ask, we've included some examples of the types of questions and issues we ask in our Project Profile below. If you'd like to talk about starting a website, drop us a line! We'd be happy to work with you to complete a Project Profile that will identify the scope of work you need.
Here's a sampling of the issues we address in our Project Profile:
- What are the basic goals of this project? (e.g., branding/identity reinforcement, improved access to information, direct sales, corporate communication, etc.)
- What would you consider a successful project? What methods will you employ to measure this success?
- What are your schedule requirements, if any?
- What is the budget for this project? Is there an acceptable budget range, depending on the level and comprehensiveness of services provided? Please explain.
- Discuss any existing branding assets that pertain to the project. (e.g. web sites, branding guidelines, logos, colors, photography, artwork, fonts, etc.)
- List five adjectives that describe the personality of your company. Rank them in order of importance.
- Describe your target market. What specific needs do your target users have? What specific plans do you have for meeting those needs?
- And many more... If you're interested in the complete Project Profile, contact us and we can help you fill it out. No obligations or pushy salespersons...just help. Plain and simple.
